Hoppers lose 10-5 at Paducah in shortened game

The Hoptown Hoppers returned to Ohio Valley League action last night and lost at Paducah in a weather shortened game 10-5 in five innings.
The Chiefs jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first inning, with the Hoppers tying the game in the top of the fourth inning before Paducah scored five times in the bottom of the fourth to get the win. Micah Genter had two of the Hoppers six hits with Will Nash taking the pitching loss. The Hoppers are back in action this evening at Fulton.
