Elsewhere in the OVL last night: Paducah and Franklin split a doubleheader, with the Chiefs winning 14-7 and the Duelers winning the nightcap 8-4, Owensboro edged Muhlenberg County 4-3 while Henderson and Fulton was rained out at Lohaus Field.
Other OVL action tonight: Franklin travels to Owensboro and Muhlenberg County goes to Henderson.
OVL Standings: The Hoptown Hoppers at 22-11 lead the OVL West by five and a half games over 16-16 Paducah and Fulton. Owensboro at 21-10 has a two game lead in the OVL East on 18-11 Henderson.
