SEC Football Media Days begin today

Southeastern Conference media days begin today in Hoover, AL, returning to the event’s longtime home after being in Atlanta last year. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey kicks off the four-day event with his annual media address about the state of the league.

The spotlight will be on LSU coach Ed Orgeron on Day 1, with Florida’s Dan Mullen and Missouri’s Barry Odom also taking the podium. Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt will face the media tomorrow while Kentucky’s Mark Stoops and Vanderbilt’s Derek Mason speaking to the media Thursday.

One thing hasn’t changed however, as Alabama is favored to win the SEC West and Georgia is the choice to win the SEC East.
