The Farmer’s Market in downtown Hopkinsville was buzzing with activities Saturday for their Customer Appreciation Day event.
Attendees got to shop from the booths—which carry everything from produce, to honey, to clothing to bread and more—while kids got their faces painted and there were drawings for prizes. Laura Faulkner says they had a great turnout for the event, which is just what they wanted because they wanted to show their customers how grateful they are for their patronage.
She says the farmer’s market has really become a staple for downtown, giving people a place to visit with other community members while enjoying local wares.
There was live music from Jeff Calhoun with the Pilgrim Project to create a festive atmosphere for the day. For more information on the Farmer’s Market and to keep up to date on events taking place there, follow them on Facebook.
