The KHSAA Board of Control heard a report Thursday on the state baseball and softball tournaments. The board directed the KHSAA staff to finalize four semi-state baseball and two softball semi-state sites for 2020.
The staff was also tasked with surveying softball schools regarding the semi-state pairings with options of continuing the four-region rotation of pairings or developing an eight-region rotation of pairings per semi-state; or conducting a blind draw each year within each eight-region semi-state.
