A two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon at the Walmart Neighborhood Market injured a local woman.
It happened about 4:20 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Gary Hicks says 42-year old Brandie Bowman of Hopkinsville was traveling toward Walmart from Country Club Lane and made a turn toward the fuel station.
An SUV driven by 56-year old Jonathan Bronaugh of Hopkinsville was headed the opposite direction and was unable to avoid being struck by Bowman’s car.
Bowman, who said she never saw Bronaugh before turning, was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck pain. Bronaugh was not injured.
