Two injured in Bypass crash

Two people were injured in a wreck Monday morning at Eagle Way Bypass and Cox Mill Road.

A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 27-year old Kelsea Moore of Hopkinsville ran out of gas and was stopped in the eastbound lanes on Eagle Way. Approaching from behind was 47-year old Marilyn Futrell of Cadiz, who said she didn’t see that Moore was stopped until it was too late to avoid hitting her in the rear.

Moore complained of neck and head pain and was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Futrell had scrapes and bruises, but declined an ambulance trip to the hospital.
