A teenager who graduated from Logan County High School last month was killed in a two-vehicle wreck early Saturday morning on US 68.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and says 18-year old Caleb Jenkins of Russellville attempted to turn left from Morganfield Road onto US 68 and drove into the path of a westbound tractor-trailer operated by 44-year old Charles Scarbrough of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The vehicles collided and Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County Coroner’s Office.
Scarbrough was not injured.
