Crofton man arrested on multiple charges following disturbance

An investigation of a disturbance on West Second Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday night led to the arrest of a Crofton man on multiple charges.

It happened about 10:30 p.m. and the alleged victim in the incident said 26-year old Adolph Escobedo, Jr. of Crofton had tried to assault him and that he had thrown rocks through windows of his home.

When Hopkinsville police officers located Escobedo walking on North O’Neal Avenue, he allegedly ran when told to stop and was caught after a foot pursuit.

An arrest citation says he smelled of alcohol and that a baggie of methamphetamine was found in his property.

Escobedo was arrested for fleeing or evading police, criminal mischief, public intoxication and possession of methamphetamine.
