The Ohio Valley League announced today one of its teams has used an ineligible player. According to league president John Bruce, the Muhlenberg County Stallions identified the player on their roster, Jordan Adesi. Adesi played in two games for Muhlenberg County. The June 4th game resulted in a win by Owensboro 13-1. That game will stand as played and all individual player statistics will stand.
The June 5th game resulted in a win by Muhlenberg County 7-3 over Dubois County. That game will now be recorded as a forfeit with a score of 9 to 0 in favor of Dubois County. The individual statistics of each player in the June 5th game will stand except for a pitcher of record. No winning or losing pitcher will be recorded.
