The win streak is now seven as the Hoptown Hoppers defeated the Muhlenberg County Stallions last night on the road by the score of 9-1. The Hoppers scored six times in their first three at bats and held the Stallions to just one hit in the contest.Five Hoppers had two hits each with Jacob Jenkins, Seth Bennett, Ben Huber, Hunter Evans and Micah Genter collecting them with Evans, Genter and Brennan Crooms each getting two RBI.
Bennett and Evans each had two doubles and Crooms had a home run.
Cam Barlow held the Stallions hitless through seven innings and struck out 10, with Drew McGowan allowing the only hit in the 8th and Ben Huber pitched the ninth. Barlow improved to 3-0 with the win.
