Elkton mayor and retired educator Arthur Green has received another statewide award for his time with Future Farmers of America.
Green was presented with the Kentucky FFA Association’s Distinguished Service Award during a ceremony this week at the 90th annual Kentucky FFA Convention.
Green retired in 2006 after 33 years at Todd County Central High School and has served several terms as Kentucky FFA Alumni president.
He was also the recipient of the 2018 Ag. Teachers Change Lives Award.
In addition to being Elkton’s current mayor, he previously served a four-year term as Todd County judge-executive.
