Several thousand dollars’ worth of property was stolen or vandalized during a recent construction site burglary in Muhlenberg County and a suspect has been arrested.
The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department investigated and says the site is on Hammonds Lane in Greenville and it’s owned by Roadbuilders.
Deputies arrested 37-year old Billy Gibson of Greenville Tuesday and charged him with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, criminal trespass and felony theft.
Greenville police assisted in the investigation.
