The Christian Health Center of Hopkinsville, a 114-bed nursing and rehabilitation center for older seniors located on the campus of Christian Care Communities, was recently awarded $120,000 in grant funding.
According to a news release, the funding comes the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the National Benevolent Association of the Christian Church. They’ll go towards the installation of the state-of-the-art It’s Never Too Late technology suite and renovation of the employee Care and Connect Training Center to further support the needs of the older adult residents in western Kentucky.
The design incorporates numerous user-friendly technology components, enabling everyone at CHC – residents, staff and family, regardless of experience, physical or intellectual abilities.
Executive Director Carol Britt says, “This investment in the renovation and technology improvements of our community is a tremendous long-term commitment to complete upgrades and allows us to continue supporting the older adults of our community with exceptional service in a high quality way.”
