The Hopkinsville Police Department arrested a Cadiz man early Sunday morning on strength of a warrant for charges of wanton endangerment and unlawful imprisonment.
According to the arrest warrant, 19-year old Deovion Day of Cadiz is alleged to have aided two juveniles in assaulting a third juvenile, which caused injuries to the victim in November of 2018. He reportedly held people in the residence where the assault occurred at gunpoint, threatening to ‘blow their heads off’ if they intervened in the assault.
Day was arrested Sunday and lodged in the Christian County Jail. He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, unlawful imprisonment, unlawful transaction with a minor, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault.
