A local man was honored as Kentucky State Police Post 2 trooper of the year Friday at the KSP awards ceremony in Lexington.
Trooper Hunter Carroll received the award for the Madisonville post. He thanked his wife and family, saying he wouldn’t be where he is without them.
Carroll came to KSP in 2017 after previous service with the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
