Bill Goodman, the former host of KET’s ‘Kentucky Tonight’, will be the emcee of the August 3rd Fancy Farm political picnic.
Goodman is currently the executive director of the Kentucky Humanities Council and will preside over the 139th annual St. Jerome Catholic Church Picnic’s political speaking.
This year’s picnic will feature candidates for Kentucky’s constitutional offices with a full list of speakers to come this summer.
Goodman is quoted in a news release as saying, “Fancy Farm is the single most important political event in Kentucky, and I am deeply flattered that St. Jerome’s Parish would invite me to have this honor. I look forward to joining friends from across the commonwealth for some fun, delicious food, and some good ole fashion stump speaking.”
