Indictments handed down for shooting, sexual assault

The Christian County Grand Jury handed down indictments Friday against two men accused of being involved in a March 6th shooting incident in Oak Grove.

Twenty-one-year-old Theodore Harris Freeman IV was indicted for first-degree assault and Jordan Allan Parks for complicity to first-degree assault.

The indictments allege Freeman placed the life of William Brand in danger when he shot him March 6th. It happened just east of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department on Thompsonville Lane and the victim’s car came to rest in a field.

Bland was treated at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital for a gunshot wound to the chest-area.

Parks allegedly acted as an accomplice to Freeman, according to the indictment.

Meanwhile, the grand jury indicted 27-year old Juan Carlos Gonzalez of Oak Grove for first-degree rape.

Oak Grove Police were called a location in March where a female victim said Gonzalez had sexually assaulted her. An arrest citation says the victim had to be treated for significant injuries at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and Gonzalez was found throwing up in the shower with blood on his body.
