In game one of the series between the two top teams in the Ohio Valley Conference, Austin Peay fell to Jacksonville State 3-2 in 10 innings. The Governors are 30-21 and 19-9 in the OVC and have to win the last two games of the series to claim the OVC regular season title. Game two is tonight at 6 in Clarksville.
Murray State fell to SIU Edwardsville 11-6. The Racers are 22-27 and 15-13 in the OVC with game two of the series at 6 pm this evening.
Western Kentucky was crushed by Old Dominion 15-1 despite Jake Sanford’s 22nd home run of the season. Game two of the series is at 4:30 today at Nick Denes Field.
