Wet pavement was a factor in a wreck on I-24 in Christian County Sunday morning that sent a Georgia woman to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle that hydroplaned was 20-year old Jazzmine Coleman of Georgia, according to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department. As previously reported, she was attempting to merge from the Pennyrile Parkway off ramp onto I-24 when wet pavement caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
It left the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled onto its top before coming to a stop in the left shoulder. Coleman was transported to Tennova Health Hospital for multiple injuries.
