The KHSAA State Fishing Tournament began Friday at Kentucky Dam Marina. The South Laurel team of Shawn Coots and Travis Keltner lead after the first day with the Muhlenberg County team of Jackson Kulijof and Lane Tooley in third place while the Trigg County duo of Chase Oglesby and Ty Meacham is in fifth place. The final day of the competition is Saturday.
