The Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s Board of Control approved a measure during its meeting Wednesday that will cause spectators removed or ejected from a KHSAA sporting event to receive further sanctions. Under the measure, the person ejected “shall be suspended from attending, at minimum, the next contest at that level of competition and all other contests at any level in the interim.” The KHSAA says the policy was enacted to further promote sportsmanship and support contest officials and administrators. The policy will take effect in the 2019-20 school year.
