HPD seeking named suspect in Bryan St. shooting

Hopkinsville Police are seeking a named suspect in connection with the shooting on Bryan Street Tuesday night that injured three people.

HPD says they are looking for 20-year old Demontrai Kimbrough for his alleged involvement in the shooting that happened about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday near 214 Bryan. The victims were 19-year old Jaquavius Whitlock of Hopkinsville and two juveniles whose names were not released.

Two of the victims were found on the scene by arriving officers and one victim had already been transported by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. All three were transferred to a Nashville hospital and the two with the most severe injuries were in critical, but stable condition at last check.

Kimbrough is a black male, standing about 5-8 and weighing approximately 155 pounds. His last known address was the 1700 block of Jago Road.
