Hopkinsville downed Ohio County 7-1. John Duvall had two hits including a home run for the Tigers with Caleb Bapp also adding two hits. Preston Chaudoin picked up the pitching win as Hopkinsville is now 16-7 and return to action Thursday at Caldwell County.
Christian County fell to Caldwell County 11-3. Wyatt Stevenson went 3-4 at the plate which included two doubles and Austin Fields went 2-2. Eric Silvy took the pitching loss for the Colonels, now 13-10. Christian County welcomes Paducah Tilghman Friday.
University Heights defeated Hopkins Central 16-10. Drew McGowan had three hits for the Blazers including a grand slam home run. Dan Johnson and Zach Naylor also had three hits with Johnson also getting the pitching win in throwing a complete game. UHA is now 13-13 and hosts Apollo Thursday.
Games today include Fort Campbell hosting Todd Central.
