A man avoided serious injury in Guthrie Monday morning after his tractor went partially over a guard rail on US 79.
Guthrie Police Chief Dean Blumel says the driver was northbound when he lost control, hit the guard rail and over-corrected.
The tractor turned over and came to rest upside down on top of the guard rail on the railroad overpass bridge.
The man had some lacerations from broken glass, but refused a trip to the hospital.
An overturned tractor-trailer in the same area caused additional traffic issues, but Chief Blumel says the two incidents were unrelated.
