Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a Christian County Jail inmate who escaped Tuesday night from the work release detention program.
As previously reported, 22-year old Calvin Jermaine Merritt, Jr. was last seen at East Fifth and South Virginia Street at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He is a black male, standing about 5-9 and weighing approximately 140 pounds and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and gray sweatpants. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck and the name Calvin is tattooed on his upper right arm.
Anyone knowing Merritt’s whereabouts can call the anonymous Crime Stoppers tips line at 270-887-TIPS. If your tip leads to an arrest, you will receive a cash reward and you will not have to give your name or appear in court.
