A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Logan County.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined Jacob Arnold of Stuart Chapel Road had been headed south on Stuart Chapel when his tires dropped off the right shoulder.
Arnold over-corrected, crossed both lanes of travel and then dropped off the left shoulder. His vehicle re-entered the road and rolled multiple times, ejecting Arnold.
Deputies found him lying in a field next to his vehicle and they applied a tourniquet to his thigh to suppress his bleeding.
Arnold was taken by EMS to Logan Memorial Hospital and then immediately transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
