Pairings for the 2019 KHSAA/Whitaker Bank State Baseball Tournament and the 2019 KHSAA State Softball Tournament were announced in Lexington today.
Baseball: The winner of the Semi State matchup between the 2nd and 1st regions on June 1st will meet the winner of the Sub-State matchup involving the 16th and 15th regions. The state quarterfinal will take place in Lexington June 6th at a time to be announced later.
Softball: The winner of the Region 2 vs. Region 1 Semi State game on June 1st will face the winner of the Region 14 vs. Region 13 Semi State game in quarterfinal play in Lexington on June 7th at a time to be announced later.
The state baseball tournament will be played June 5-8 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, while the state softball tournament will be contested June 7-9 at John Cropp Stadium also in Lexington on the University of Kentucky campus.
