Renewing faith was a theme of the Hopkinsville-Christian County YMCA’s Good Friday breakfast.
Angela Beloved from All Nations House of Prayer began the morning with song and Pastor Brad Fancher of Restoration House was the keynote speaker.
He spoke about this holy weekend on the Christian calendar being a time when believers can renew and return to their faith.
Pastor Fancher believes Good Friday and Easter shouldn’t just be holidays when Christians recount the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ—those days should be a time of personal reflection and change.
He challenged the crowd at the YMCA to examine their own lives and to renew their faith this Easter weekend.
The YMCA reminded attendees about programs and services it offers to youth throughout the year as its 2019 fundraising campaign continues.
