MLB: Reds, Cardinals & Braves lose, Cubs win

The Cincinnati Reds fell again to the Los Angeles Dodgers last night 6-1. The teams close out the series this afternoon at Dodger Stadium, with coverage beginning at 2 pm on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: Christian Yelich drilled a three-run homer in the Milwaukee Brewers 8-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Marcell Ozuna smacked a two-run shot and Yadier Molina and Kolten Wong added RBI singles for St. Louis. The series concludes this afternoon in Milwaukee.

José Quintana tossed seven innings of shutout ball as the Chicago Cubs blanked the Miami Marlins 4-0. Quintana struck out seven to earn the victory. The series wraps up tonight in Miami.

A.J. Minter gave up three runs in the ninth inning as the Atlanta Braves lost 9-6 to the Diamondbacks at SunTrust Park. Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies homered in defeat. The series continues tonight.
