The Todd County Public School System and Kentucky State Police are partnering to bring a presentation to the community titled “Destructive Decisions”, in an effort to educate students on making good choices.
Community Education Director Katrena Smith says Kentucky State Police offers this educational program to students across the state, and will talk about decision making—involving drugs, sex and emotional health—and the consequences that they can have on a person’s life.
The presentation will take place at 6 p.m. April 22 in the Todd County Central High School gymnasium and is free to attend, with Smith encouraging children of all ages and their parents to attend.
Smith says they’ve seen a need for this program not just in Todd County, but across the nation, and they want to protect and aid their students, along with the children of the community, as much as possible. For more information about the event, contact Smith at 20-265-2436.
