MLB Roundup: Reds fall to Brewers, Cards, Braves win

Raisel Iglesias gave up an RBI double to Ryan Braun in the ninth as the Cincinnati Reds fell 4-3 to the Milwaukee Brewers. Jose Peraza and Tucker Barnhart had two hits apiece. Paul DeJong scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball in the 11th inning as the St. Louis Cardinals outlasted the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-5 at PNC Park. Jose Martinez doubled in a run in the ninth to set up extra innings. The Cardinals are off today before closing out their two-game set in Pittsburgh tomorrow.

The Atlanta Braves got a four-run first inning as they cruised to an 8-0 win over the Chicago Cubs in their home opener. Chicago committed six errors in defeat. The Braves enjoy an off-day today before resuming their series with the Cubs tomorrow at Sun Trust Park.
