Princeton’s Emma Talley tied for 18th at 14 under par 274 at the LPGA Tour’s Bank of Hope Founders Cup which concluded in Phoenix Sunday. Talley earned just over $16-thousand. Jin Young Ko was the winner at 22 under.
On the PGA Tour, Paul Casey is the first repeat winner of the Valspar Championship. Casey carded a one-over 72 in Sunday’s final round at Innisbrook to win the tournament for the second straight year. Casey finished at eight-under-par for the tournament, one shot better than Louis Oosthuizen and Jason Kokrak. Bubba Watson and Sungjay Im tied for fourth place at minus-six. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker tied for 30th at even par.
