(Jacksonville, FL) — Reid Travis posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead second-seeded Kentucky to a 62-56 win over seventh-seeded Wofford in the NCAA Tournament in Jacksonville. Ashton Hagans added 12 points for Kentucky. Kentucky coach John Calipari says Wofford managed the shot clock well.
The Wildcats advance to the Sweet 16 with the win. Nathan Hoover led Wofford with 19 points. Wofford coach Mike Young says they couldn’t get one last bounce to go their way.
Fletcher Magee went 0-for-12 from three for Wofford and finished with just eight points. Cameron Jackson added 11 for the Terriers, who bow out at 30-and-5.
