A vacant house was destroyed by fire on East 7th Street early Friday morning and Hopkinsville fire fighters worked for hours to contain the blaze.
That’s according to Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Michael Pendleton, who says all four HFD stations responded to 608 East 7th Street around 2 a.m. Friday for multiple reports that the two story home was on fire.
The home sustained heavy fire damage to the rear of the building and there was damage throughout the structure.
There were no reports of injuries and no one was in the structure at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
