The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Hawthorne Drive Thursday night.
According to the police report, officers responded to the residence in the 700 block of Hawthorne around 10:40 p.m. where the victim told them that an unknown suspect had fired a gun into the home.
No suspects were listed on the report. Officers found two spent 9 mm shell casings on the property and continue to investigate the case as first-degree wanton endangerment.
