The Dolly Parton Imagination Library program of Christian County largest campaign fundraiser since the program’s inception six years ago is underway.
Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library Director Deanna Sova appeared on WHOP recently and says the fundraiser will have a tiered donation system, starting with a $25 pledge and going upwards from there, and all proceeds help fund the imagination library.
She says the program currently serves around 3,400 children a month.
$25 would provide books for 1 child for 1 year and $5000 would provide books for up to 200 children annually. The program was established in Christian County in December of 2012 and supplies children ages birth to five years with age-appropriate books each month.
