Girls 2nd Region final: After losing to Webster County three times including the 6th district final, Henderson County took the championship game last night 50-36. The Lady Colonels face North Laurel next Thursday night in the Girls Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.
Local players who made the All Tournament team were Aaliyah Hampton and Trnity McGee of Christian County and Yogi McKnight of Hopkinsville.
Girls 4th Region final: Barren County got its 31st win of the season in defeating Bowling Green 47-35. The Trojanettes square off with Pikeville next Thursday at 11 am Hopkinsville time at the Girls Sweet 16.
Girls 1st Region final: Murray won its fourth consecutive title in topping Marshall County 38-29. Murray meets Ryle next Wednesday night in the Girls Sweet 16.
Girls 3rd Region final: Owensboro Catholic bounced Apollo 52-38 and will meet Bethlehem next Wednesday afternoon at the Girls Sweet 16.
