A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening in the Kroger parking lot.
The report from Hopkinsville Police says 36-year old Christopher Meacham was pushing a shopping cart through the parking lot when he was struck on the leg by a slow-moving SUV driven by 62-year old Donnie Pettus of Hopkinsville.
Pettus told police there was a vehicle facing him with its lights on and the glare made it difficult to see.
Meacham was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
