Alex Wood struggled in his Cincinnati Reds’ debut in an 11-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners in a Cactus League game. Wood allowed three runs on two hits, including a home run, a walk and a wild pitch in one inning. The Reds face the San Francisco Giants today

Meanwhile, Reds pitcher Sonny Gray remains sidelined with no timetable when he will pitch in a spring training game. Gray was scratched from his Saturday start with right elbow stiffness. He threw on flat ground Sunday. He has not been scheduled for a bullpen session.

The St. Louis Cardinals rallied from down 3-1 in the ninth to tie the Detroit Tigers before the game ended in a 3-3 tie. The Cardinals meet the Washington Nationals today.

The Chicago Cubs lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-2 and beat the San Diego Padres 6-4 in split-squad games. The Cubs meet the Arizona Diamondbacks today.

The Atlanta Braves have their first win of the spring. Freddie Freeman homered as they overcame a 3-0 deficit to beat the Washington Nationals 9-4. The Braves host the NY Mets today.

Braves infielders Dansby Swanson and Josh Donaldson will make their Grapefruit League debuts with the Braves Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Swanson is coming back from wrist surgery, while Donaldson is coming off shoulder and calf injuries.
