St. Louis Cardinals pitchers issued eleven walks in a 12-2 exhibition loss to the Washington Nationals in Jupiter, Florida. Paul Goldschmidt made his Cardinals debut and was nothing for two. Michael Wacha allowed one run in two innings as a St. Louis starter for the time since last June when he suffered a strained oblique muscle. The Cardinals face the Detroit Tigers today.
