A vehicle versus utility pole accident Wednesday morning on KY 848 about two miles east of Trenton caused a large power outage.
No one in the SUV was injured, according to Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith, who says the accident shortly before 7 a.m. also shut the road down for a period of time.
Pennyrile Electric reported 727 members were without power in Trenton and surrounding communities, due to the accident.
