University of Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt announced Friday former Oakland Raiders assistant coach Derrick Ansley has been named defensive coordinator. He will replace Kevin Sherrer, who will serve as special teams and linebackers coach. Other changes on the staff have Chris Weinke moving from running backs to quarterbacks coach, David Johnson will be the new running backs coach after working with receivers in the 2018 season and former Vol Tee Martin will be the receivers coach.
