Three area legislators were pleased with the tone and content of Governor Matt Bevin’s State of the Commonwealth Address Thursday night.
Senator Whitney Westerfield liked that the Governor celebrated people of faith in Kentucky and that he promoted pro-life legislation up for consideration this year. He also liked Governor Bevin’s positive tone.
Representative Myron Dossett liked hearing Governor Bevin place his focus on accomplishments Kentucky has made in the last year.
Representative Walker Thomas agreed with Dossett and Westerfield, saying the remarks were uplifting.
