Fans don’t let fans drive drunk on Super Bowl Sunday

The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety is urging anyone who plans to consume alcohol at a Super Bowl Party Sunday night to plan a safe and sober ride home ahead of time.

They are teaming up with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for a ‘Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk’ reminder urging football fans to call the right play by passing the keys to a sober driver.

Statistics show 10,874 people in the United States were killed in crashes that involved an impaired driver in 2017.

Anyone who does intend to drink should have a designated driver in advance, plan to stay where they are for the night or plan to call a cab or Uber-type service to get home safely.
