The Hopkinsville Sportsplex has not yet been officially open a month, but Marketing and Events Coordinator Chris Jung says they’ve had a tremendous opening in that short time.
Speaking with the Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville Thursday, Jung elaborated on what the Sportsplex is capable of and how people can take advantage of its versatility. Jung says since they’re soft opening in December, the amount of people coming in has shattered expectations.
He says the Sportsplex is currently booked up with events through the month of March.
Jung says there’s more options available to them besides traditional sports—including archery leagues, a walking track that’s free to use in the mornings and potentially overnight events. He says they’ve certainly had visitors from Christian County, but they’ve also had guests from surrounding counties in Kentucky and Tennessee and have received nothing but positive feedback.
Jung says anyone looking for sponsorship and advertising opportunities can contact him to receive a packet on options. He says they also offer a $30 season pass and to stay up-to-date on what’s happening at the Sportsplex, like the Hopkinsville Sportsplex on Facebook.
