Cerulean woman hurt in Princeton Road collision

A Cerulean woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Friday morning on Princeton Road.

According to the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Spencer Turner, deputies responded to the intersection of Princeton Road and Ridgehill Road for reports of a collision. Investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 38-year old Elizabeth Swanson of Princeton was attempting to turn left onto Ridgehill when she was rear-ended.

The driver of the vehicle that reportedly struck her, 66-year old Patricia Jenkins, sustained injuries to her hands due to air bag deployment and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. A witness told officers they had seen Jenkins attempt to slow down, but due to glare from the sun it was very difficult to see.

Swanson was not injured and everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
