Preds crush Avs for Laviolette’s 600th win

The Nashville Predators used a three-goal second period to bury the Colorado Avalanche 4-1. Nick Bonino and Viktor Arvidsson scored 94 seconds apart early in the middle frame for a 2-0 Nashville lead. Roman Josi also tallied in the second for the Preds and Ryan Ellis added an insurance marker late in the third.

The victory marked the 600th in the coaching career of the Predators Peter Laviolette. Nashville had lost four of its previous five games. The Preds visit Vegas tomorrow in their final game before the All-Star break.
