UHA routs Livingston Central in winning 7th straight 2nd region All A title

For the 24th time and the seventh straight season University Heights won the Boys 2nd Region All A championship game this afternoon, routing Livingston Central 78-56. It was a tight game in the first half, however, the Blazers took control of the game in the 3rd quarter outscoring Livingston Central 23-7 to take control of the contest. KyKy Tandy led UHA in scoring with 31 points, Drew McGowan added 17, Taquan Hollowell pitched in 11 and Amani Brown had nine for the Blazers, now 17-3 on the season. Livingston Central fell to 10-9.

The Blazers will meet 10th region winner Bishop Brossart, in the first round of the All A State Tournament. The game is set for Thursday night at 8:30 Hopkinsville time at EKU’s McBrayer Arena in Richmond.
