Woman injured in shots fired incident

A woman was injured in a shots fired incident Monday night on Evergreen Park Drive.

Officers received a call about 7:30 p.m. regarding shots fired in the 600 block of Evergreen and were told a woman inside a residence had an injury to her ear. Hopkinsville Police Lt. Seth Meek says 48-year old Dana Oldham’s injuries were not life-threatening and that she declined an ambulance trip to the hospital.

Twenty 9 mm and 40 caliber shell casings were recovered outside and Lt. Meek says it’s unknown if the shots were fired from a vehicle or from a suspect on foot.
